My name is Adrian Graham. I write speculative fiction.1 Here are two more quick facts about me. I live in England, and I have an MA in Creative Writing from Birkbeck, University of London.
While you’re here, you might want to check out my updates. I write them to a monthly schedule. The updates cover my experience of the writing process, comments about the books and films I’m reading and watching, plus some random topics that interest me. As the late great Clive James once said: ‘If I find it interesting, then it’s interesting’.
I try to keep the updates below 1,500 words. That makes the editing process nice and speedy, which gives me more ‘space’ for my fiction.
Anyway, if there’s anything else you’d like to know about me, or something I’ve written on this website, you can always ask a question.
1 What’s ‘speculative fiction’? Simple. It’s fiction that’s usually set in the future and speculates about future scenarios. But that’s only part of it, my writing is also influenced by crime genre tropes, and military science fiction. I also write science fiction, and fantasy.
